A short walk in Kaitoke Regional Park
During the Wellington movies tour a few months ago we had a longish stop in the Kaitoke Regional Park. After lunch and a visit to Rivendell our guide encouraged us to take the long way back to the carpark.
I think this was so that he could have a sleep in the van. Luckily for him we all thought it was a good idea and off we went.
About 40ish or so minutes long, we followed a loop route along some paved paths and some soft tracks through beautiful native bush. It was a really enjoyable serene experience and now that I know it’s there, I doubt it will be the last time I visit.
I finished the walk with one lingering question: why must there always be someone who bounces the swing bridge?
