St Stephen’s church, Te Araroa

St Stephen’s Church, the third incarnation on this site which may also have been a Maori burial ground. It’s category 2 heritage building and once upon a time had a bell tower.

    if you look at the photo of the church you will see that the bell tower has been rebuilt and a cross erected on the gable. This work was done by the staff of the BCITO in November 2008.
