Did they ever get their ‘Hollywood’ sign? So … original. So … creative. So very … kiwi …
Yes and no… Common sense prevailed and the Wellywood sign didn’t go ahead, it’s the Wellington sign as shown in the banner of that post. I voted for that option, it seemed the best of an iffy bunch, and they were hell-bent on putting something up there.
As a card-carrying practising cynic (a bit impish sometimes too) I’d be tempted to park there with a wee notice in the car : “Forgive us our trespasses” ,,,
If the ‘lead us not into temptation’ bit doesn’t prevent that I suspect there wouldn’t be any help with the ‘deliver us from evil (towing co.)’ bit.
