Cardrona former church

The church is older than the hall and began life as a recreation hall for the miners. Later, after it became a church, it was moved to Wanaka and used until 1985. The day before it was due to be burned for fire brigade training, Cardrona residents bought it back and it returned to the valley. Today it is again used for recreational purposes
